Gobi Manchurian Dry

Ingredients:-
Cauliflower –1 small size
  • For Batter:
  1. Maida – 5 tbsp
  2. Cornstarch – 4tbsp
  3. Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
  4. Soya sauce – ½ tsp
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Water as needed
  • For the sauce:
  1. Oil – 1 tbsp
  2. Onion(medium size, chopped finely)- 1
  3. Garlic (chopped finely) - 1 tbsp
  4. Ginger (chopped finely) - 1 tbsp
  5. Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp
  6. Green chilli sauce- ½ tsp (optional)
  7. Red chilli sauce-2 tbsp
  8. Soya sauce – 4 tsp
  9. White vinegar – 1 ½ tsp
  10. Corn starch (mixed in little water) – 2 tsp
  11. Spring onion – 2 stalks
First step:
  • Clean and cut cauliflower in small pieces.
  • Mix batter (should be of the dosa batter consistency).
  • Dip cauliflower in a batter and deep fry, until the cauliflower becomes golden brown.
  • And keep aside.
Second step:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, garlic and ginger sauté well.
  • Then add tomato ketchup, green and red chilli sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix them well and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
  • Now add corn starch and cook for a minute.
  • As the sauce starts to thicken, add the fried cauliflower and mix well.
  • Then add chopped spring onion. Sever hot :)
