- For Batter:
- Maida – 5 tbsp
- Cornstarch – 4tbsp
- Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Soya sauce – ½ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- For the sauce:
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Onion(medium size, chopped finely)- 1
- Garlic (chopped finely) - 1 tbsp
- Ginger (chopped finely) - 1 tbsp
- Tomato sauce- 2 tbsp
- Green chilli sauce- ½ tsp (optional)
- Red chilli sauce-2 tbsp
- Soya sauce – 4 tsp
- White vinegar – 1 ½ tsp
- Corn starch (mixed in little water) – 2 tsp
- Spring onion – 2 stalks
First step:
- Clean and cut cauliflower in small pieces.
- Mix batter (should be of the dosa batter consistency).
- Dip cauliflower in a batter and deep fry, until the cauliflower becomes golden brown.
- And keep aside.
Second step:
- Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onions, garlic and ginger sauté well.
- Then add tomato ketchup, green and red chilli sauce, soy sauce, and vinegar. Mix them well and cook for 2 – 3 minutes.
- Now add corn starch and cook for a minute.
- As the sauce starts to thicken, add the fried cauliflower and mix well.
- Then add chopped spring onion. Sever hot :)
